As a Data Scientist, working with central squads and local digital teams in business and IT, you will build data science products and contribute to bringing our client’s digital banking platform to the next level. Job description
- Development of machine learning algorithms and models to address business challenges and improve product performance.
- Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and business leaders to understand requirements and design tailored solutions to meet complex business challenges.
- Implement machine learning pipelines and workflows for feature engineering, model training, and evaluation.
- Pioneer and explore novel data science methodologies, tools, and approaches to address unique challenges.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning, and apply them to improve our practices and solutions.
- Communicate technical concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Prerequisites and skills
- MS/PhD in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Operations Research, Engineering, a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with experience in designing and implementing complex data science solutions.
- 5+ years of experience using data science to solve business problems, with proficient Python coding skills and expertise in statistical analysis.
- Experience with big data tools (e.g. Spark) and MLOps practices, including model versioning, deployment, and monitoring.
- Experience with financial data and applications
- Experience with deep learning, LLMs, NLP and time-series modeling, Databricks
