Náplň práce

• Installation, maintenance, upgrades and backups of internal servers, workstations, networking equipment, notebooks, VoIP phones, printers.
• Troubleshooting of internal IT issues (user support as well as server support).
• Maintenance of assembly room, server room and warehouse.
• Documenting all installed systems and infrastructure (servers, workstations, systems, networking equipment, ...).
• Ensuring that software is used in accordance to respective software licenses.

Predpoklady a zručnosti

Education and technical skills

• University or technical institute degree of 2nd level (Mgr., Ing. or equivalent) from a technical program is preferred.
• Advanced administration skills of Linux application servers (E-mail/DNS/DHCP/Web server).
• Advanced administration skills of PROXMOX (KVM based) VM environment.
• Advanced administration skills of Windows based desktop and servers.
• Advanced administration skills of Microsoft Active Directory server.
• Active administration skills of Atlassian JIRA and Confluence products.
• Solid experience with hardware maintenance:
• Workstation assembly and maintenance: RAM, disk, PSU.
• Rack assembly: server installation, patch cabling and respective best practices.

Candidate advantages

• Networking: firewall, proxy server, installation and maintenance.
• Scripting skills: Bash, Perl, PHP, Python.
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation: Ansible, Cobbler.
• Familiarity with high-availability clustering based on open-source technologies: DRBD, Pacemaker, RedHat Cluster or similar.
• Asterisk maintenance.

Personal skills

• Self-driven and being able to work on multiple assigned tasks.
• Problem solving skills: some issues are straight-forward. Most require putting several pieces of information together.
• Interested in continuous learning: IBL software evolves at a rapid pace. We need to keep up with the latest developments and upgrades of software supporting IBL products.
